About this station
For nearly 160 years, an all weather lifeboat has launched from the rural fishing village of Kilmore Quay and the crews have been honoured with 19 awards for gallantry. Today’s Tyne class lifeboat provides search and rescue cover for both commercial and leisure mariners.
