Hoylake Appeal
The people of Hoylake have provided volunteer crews for over 200 years, a tradition that continues today with three generations of one family prepared to risk their lives to save others.
Help them to cover the approaches to Liverpool, and launch at all states of tide, in any weather to people in distress
Why we need a new boathouse at Hoylake.
- to meet the demands of the 21st century.
- to provide building and maintenance facilities for the faster and more sophisticated lifeboats.
- to provide decent training and support facilities, all provided by the new boathouse
Building work is progressing on the new lifeboat station. Dame Lorna Muirhead DBE Lord Lieutenant of Merseyside will lay the foundation stone in the new building on 18 March.
